Job Duties and Responsibilities

You will lead a cross-functional team in defining, launching, and managing new products for our portfolio. Using a data-driven approach, you will understand the US market, competitive landscape, and customer demand. You will create business cases and plans, oversee the journey from conception to market launch, and ensure a world-class customer experience, thriving at the intersection of technology and business.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will:

  • Understand market needs and the competitive landscape to position DISH's product offerings effectively.

  • Set product priorities and time-to-market objectives through stakeholder engagement.

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to develop required functionalities across cloud-based back-end systems and on-device software, including third-party contributions.

  • Define and deliver the Minimum Viable Product through ruthless prioritization, managing timelines, and overcoming obstacles to ensure on-time success.

  • Identify and communicate opportunities for value propositions and differentiation, validating them through data collection and analytics.

Skills, Experience and Requirements

As a successful Staff Product Manager, you will:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field, or MBA, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5+ years of product management experience in a wireless or internet services environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven understanding of the US enterprise networking market, with experience at a networking equipment or service provider.

  • Solid understanding of the US wireless market, including wireless carrier perspectives, device software, and back-end systems.

  • Strong foundation in product discovery and validation methodologies, such as customer journey mapping, prototyping, and A/B testing.

  • Understanding of emerging security principles across wireless and IT environments.

  • Collaborative and action-oriented advocate with experience in wireless product solutions, business models, and technology trends.

  • Independent self-starter, effective in ambiguous situations, with a passion for mentorship and team development.

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $110,100.00/Year - $180,900.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
