Job Duties and Responsibilities

The DISH Go-To-Market team is accountable for the strategy, growth, and development of all marketing initiatives driving the DISH and SLING TV business annually. This team manages the campaigns and initiatives that tell our brand story, reach our target audiences, and drive our yearly sales goals. This is an exciting, dynamic role to have during an exciting time at DISH, as we look to evolve our offerings based on the changing dynamics in the category and our entry into Wireless.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Executing against annual Video Services Go-To-Market Calendar, inclusive of all campaigns, offers, tests, initiatives and tactic coordination from top-of-funnel to bottom-funnel

  • Supporting Go-To-Market tactical campaigns & initiatives based on DISH/Sling Marketing 3-year Strategies, Content Pillars, new product launches and offers

  • Working cross-functionally with Marketing partners to launch campaigns, initiatives and offers with strategies and objectives and goals defined

  • Assisting in the writing of Business and/or Initiative Briefs, inclusive of background, financial analysis, launch plans, cross-functional team coordination, key meetings/approvals, performance reporting, and archiving/postmortems

  • Maintaining toolkits and fact sheets for ongoing initiatives including gathering results post-campaign

  • Providing feedback to creative agencies with oversight from senior leadership

  • Partnering with GTM leadership on coordination of annual Marketing Offer strategy (cross-tactic; cross sales channels), inclusive of core pricing, technology launches, free/GWP, gift cards, partner co-marketing, competitive response, faux offers and more

  • Partnering with GTM leadership to develop strategy, implement and execute marketing cross-sell campaigns, including Wireless, Internet and other cross-portfolio opportunities

  • Coordinating resources required for executing with excellence - including Business Brief, Business Rules, Disclaimers/Requirements, Marketing Guidelines, Marketing Fact Sheets, Review/Approval Processes

  • Coordinating campaign-level performance share-out across teams, channels and tactics; including KPI’s, message tests, offer testing and image testing

Skills, Experience and Requirements

This is a high-energy role for a well-rounded business professional who can hit the ground running and drive results immediately. This role is demanding given the dynamic market landscape and new marketing challenges, and will allow the right candidate the opportunity to make a big impact in a short time as they grow a critical channel for DISH.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Marketing Generalist with experience across full-funnel marketing: brand, digital, direct response, and partner marketing

  • Ability to think strategically about both customer and market information; comfortable analyzing marketing data to see big picture

  • Ability to influence and collaborate across various functional groups including sales, marketing partners (Digital, Insights, Analytics, Brand, PMO, Finance, etc) and creative agencies

  • Strong interpersonal skills that encourage team collaboration and promote enthusiasm; build trust with external and cross-functional partners

  • Must be results-oriented and have an understanding of metrics and data, as well as the ability to make recommendations to leadership based on key information alongside Finance and Marketing Analytics teams

  • Effective communication skills and comfortable presenting to leadership

  • Thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment with a high capacity to multi-task and handle tight deadlines

  • Problem solver, process and detail-oriented

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
